Summary

This program will help personal injury attorneys better understand how to support clients in their practice by learning about Special Needs Trusts and Supplemental Needs Trusts, and how they can be effectively used to protect clients’ access to means-tested benefits.

The program will cover the basics of Special Needs and Supplemental Needs trusts, including the difference between the two, and will provide an overview of the process of setting up and managing those trusts. It will also touch on some of the benefits and drawbacks of each type of trust and how they compare with ABLE accounts.

Attendees will leave with a more comprehensive understanding of these trusts and how they can be used to maximize the financial security and quality of life of eligible clients.
