Continuing Legal Education
Minnesota Association for Justice's education programs offer the highest quality of legal education focusing on the issues that are most important to the development of your practice. Seminars are offered for all levels of experience in substantive areas and trial skills and frequent webcast CLE programs are available for the lawyer unable to be away from the office for an entire day.
CLE programs are offered throughout the calendar year at the MAJ Center for Legal Education, located adjacent to the MAJ offices in downtown Minneapolis. Two major MAJ CLE programs that are offered annually off site are the annual Mid-Winter Meeting (February) and Annual Convention (August). Occasionally, CLE programs are offered in partnership with other bar associations. MAJ’s CLE calendar is developed by members through the Education Committee, which is a wonderful opportunity to make an impact on our professional standards of excellence while benefitting the association at the same time. MAJ offers annual CLE programs for Alternative Dispute Resolution, No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation just to name a few – as well as one-off seminars appealing to every level of litigation experience and background.
Professional Development
In addition to our CLE course offerings, MAJ offers a number of publications that enhance your professional development and are easy desk references for you when you need something within reach. From the No-Fault Toolbox to MAJ’s Employment Litigation Handbook to MAJ’s Openings and Closings book – we have a publication to assist you.
Miss a seminar? No problem, we’ve got you covered! MAJ offers previous course books and video replays for members to catch up on anything they may have missed.
