Program Description

Havening Techniques are new neuroscience-based interventions designed for fast and effective treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder and other fear-based disorders such as anxiety, panic disorder, and phobias. By the end of this training, you will understand what Havening Techniques is, how trauma is encoded and removed from the brain, recognize signs of emotional distress with clients, and effectively converse about mental health within your practice.

Objectives:

  • Learn what Havening Techniques is and how it can enhance brain health and emotional wellness.
  • Understand neuroplasticity and how neuroscience-based Havening treatment techniques effectively remove various trauma responses.
  • Learn how to identify symptoms of acute stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and trauma to assist clients with mental health concerns.
  • Appraise the risks and limitations of Havening research and how this is relevant in your practice.
