Summary

Program Description:

Juryball:  Almost unheard of 15 years ago, big data and empirical studies are becoming increasingly common in litigation and trial. In the last 10 years, big data has played a role in over $3.1 billion in plaintiff verdicts. This presentation will cover the rapid rise of empirical studies and big data in how plaintiff lawyers select, prepare, and try cases. Topics will include how empirical studies work, how they are used in different phases of litigation, and how they can help attorneys achieve better results. By the end of the presentation, attorneys will have a good sense of the Juryball method for using data to drive case decisions and verdicts
